Craig believes that building a culture of leadership starts with those at the top – the drivers of the vision. Over a span of fourteen years in the financial services industry, Craig has concentrated on the craft of management, coupled with a passion for the financial services industry. He draws on a career that has taken him to the apex of the international finance industry, as far as the Middle East and Asia, and to some of the top positions in the financial world.

Born in Zimbabwe, junior-schooled in Melbourne, Australia, and educated at Kwazulu Natal’s Michaelhouse, throughout his journey Craig has carried with him the principles of leadership. From his early days at Ernst & Young and at ABSA Bank Limited, his career has taken him to the Middle East as a Financial Adviser and to the Far East, where he was involved in Wealth Management and Offshore Investments, eventually becoming Regional Manager for Africa (Financial Advisory/Wealth Management) for one of the largest independent offshore financial consultancies.

A philanthropist at heart, Craig believes that leadership should be translated into action to uplift the community. In this respect, he is a co-founder of Signature of Hope Trust and a generous donor to various NGOs.

Spanning over two and a half decades in the financial industry, Marc Fancy is passionate about and recognises the changing needs of international HNW clients and corporates alike. Born of the United Kingdom, raised in Europe, Marc has had the privilege of working with some of the world's largest financial institutions, fund management groups, and trust companies. His professional journey has taken him across three continents, where he has played a pivotal role in opening offices, recruiting talented financial professionals, and nurturing their development in various regulated and licensed jurisdictions.
Marc has been at the forefront of the development team at Carrick recognising how the financial services sector needs to evolve in order to meet the needs of the clients who depend on the industry’s experience and expertise. With a keen sense of cultivation and leadership, Marc has spent the last two years building Carrick Catalyst – the first African solely B2B financial services provider. Now, he has spearheaded the project to rebrand the Carrick Mauritius team under the new Carrick Catalyst brand which exudes luxury and excellence with a new technological model to change the face of financial advisory as we know it in Africa. His expertise and passion for excellence make him a trusted and sought-after professional in the industry.

Bryan is responsible for the overall financial functioning of the Carrick group. He plays a key role in guiding the board with strategic investment decisions and ensuring the security of the company’s assets. Born and raised in Cape Town, he is an entrepreneur at heart and has always had a passion for numbers and financial markets. He has spent the last ten years in the financial services industry heading up finance teams and overseeing operations across the African region.

Bryan completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Economics and Finance and has also completed numerous industry-related qualifications from UCT, CISI and the FSCA regulatory examinations. He sits on several of Carrick’s executive committees and currently heads up the Audit and Remuneration Committee.

Bryan has a soft spot for Carrick Catalyst in looking after more than just their finances, he safeguards the management and day-to-day running of the business with his vast background and experience in project management. He and his team regularly support the Mauritius office from our Headquarters in Cape Town.
